A washer code is a clue, not a universal parts-replacement instruction. Photograph the complete message and record the model before any approved reset.
Tell us whether it stopped while filling, washing, draining or spinning. Note retained water, a locked door and any household supply or drain problem.
Use only the model's owner checks. Do not force a door, bypass a lock or open a hot or full washer's filter without its safe procedure.
